Job Overview
CRDB Bank is inviting qualified professionals to apply for the role of Senior Specialist – Digital Channels System. This critical role ensures the smooth operation, integration, and maintenance of digital self-service channels, directly impacting customer experience and operational efficiency.
As a Senior Specialist, you will lead a team responsible for the second-level support and ongoing improvement of digital platforms such as mobile banking, internet banking, ATMs, and other customer-facing technologies.
Key Responsibilities

Technical Oversight & Support:
-
Supervise and provide technical support for digital channels and self-service platforms.

Monitor system performance to ensure 24/7 availability and reliability.

Operational Support:
-
Manage daily support tasks and on-call responsibilities.
-
Provide direct troubleshooting and issue resolution for customer-facing platforms.

Integration Projects:
-
Lead or participate in integration efforts involving third-party platforms and the bank’s Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).

Document technical specifications for system enhancements and new digital solutions.

System Configuration & Maintenance:

Configure systems, hardware, and digital services in alignment with operational requirements.

Monitor logs, verify data integrity, and ensure successful task execution (e.g., backups).

Manage system patches, upgrades, hotfixes, and file maintenance.

Change Management & Testing:
-
Conduct system integration testing and support implementation.
-
Review, test, and apply updates following internal change management procedures.

Incident Recovery:

Investigate system failures and execute recovery processes.

Coordinate responses and communications with affected users and teams.

Required Qualifications

Academic Background:
-
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 5 years in a senior/supervisory ICT role in banking or a similar sector.

At least 3 years of hands-on experience managing and supporting digital channels or self-service systems.

Technical Skills:

Strong understanding of self-service platforms and digital banking systems.

Experience with Oracle Database and UNIX/Linux/Windows environments.

Familiarity with network technologies, ESB, and service-oriented architectures.

Knowledge of system monitoring, configuration, and integration best practices.
